A beautiful project orchestrated by Handra Amorin, Director and Photographer.
Exalting black beauty, a hot topic as we live in a world that is more and more hurt than ever. It is time to seal those wounds, forgive and work together as a united community.
Handra exhibited her 1st show on the 3rd November 2018 in London.
A vision she has been building up for 6 months and has decided to run for it even, though, she didn’t really have it all planned out or know the outcome. She just simply walked in faith and put it in the work. A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into this project and I couldn’t be more proud of her.
On the day of the event, I had the opportunity to share a little snippet of what it meant to follow a vision by staying true to yourself. The talk is linked at the end of the post.
I will not say much as the documentary speaks for itself, you can scroll down and discover her artwork.
